Auctioneer Karen has raised over $1 billion for worthy causes over her 30+ year career, and is rated as the Top Woman Benefit Auctioneer in the country. Sonrise Productions has covered many of her auctions over the year, most recently for the Mill City Farmers Market and Women Venture in Minneapolis.
Positive Living was a community television program about healthy choices for your mind, body & spirit, which first premiered in 1994. Hosted by then Miss Minnesota USA Jolene Stavrakis (later Marek), this first installment includes interviews with Photographer Linda Zurflieh and Helen Healy of Wellspring Naturopathic Clinic, an inspirational thought from Evergreen Community Church pastor Brent Knox, and a fun segment called Father's Day Follies. Please note that this program was first cablecast 30 years ago; not all opinions expressed are the current beliefs of Sonrise Productions.
